Here I am

Today, I was uploading photos of our home renovations on Facebook and I realized that I had so much to say about each of the projects we’d completed and my photo captions just couldn’t do it justice.

So, here I am.

While my 4 month old is in the bouncer next to me, chewing on a hand-me-down bunny, I’m writing my first blog post!

I want this blog to be a documentation of the work my family and I are putting into our home. We have big dreams but a tiny budget (I’m sure there’s a few Netflix series with that kind of title!) and to top it off, we both (usually) work fulltime and have two amazing kids that run us ragged. Balancing all of this, and trying to maintain some quality of life, is a challenge!

Now, I know I’m not the first person to write a blog, and my intention is not to be ground-breaking (subtle pun anyone?) but, my aim is just to share my experience with our life and perhaps you may find something in here that resonates.
